South Jersey Gas has begun to mobilize for the next phase of remediation at the Pleasantville former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site in Pleasantville, New Jersey. The Site is located at the intersection of North Franklin Blvd and Old Turnpike Road and includes portions of roadway, as well as the following properties:
- Block 103, Lot 27
- Block 130, Lot 5
- Block 131, Lots 1 and 2.
All of the properties to be remediated are owned by South Jersey Gas. The roadways are the jurisdiction of both the City of Pleasantville and Atlantic County.
In order to complete the necessary remediation activities, portions of North Franklin Boulevard and Old Turnpikewill be closed to traffic. The road closures will be divided into stages
